Introducing Our New Look
CARE has been in operation since 1992.
Along the way, we’ve introduced different visual pieces to support our membership and residents such as our logo, printed brochures, membership forms, and website, but we’ve never had a consistent visual identity. Until now!
Strategic planning has been a point of focus for most of the CARE board groups, especially in the past three to four years because as we grow as an organization, we need to be sure the decisions we make are guided by an agreed upon set of values. In order to build our values, we determined that we needed an updated mission and vision statement to communicate exactly what our organization does and what we plan to do.
As we worked through this challenging and exciting exercise, it became clear that how we looked as an organization didn’t match up with the goals we have for CARE or how we want people (stakeholders, donors, supporters, the community-at-large) to think of us.
Changing how we look doesn’t take away from the success we’ve had in the past.
We’re grateful to every person who has helped us by doing thinks like drawing our first logo, setting up our various websites over the years, and providing tech support. We’re moving forward with a clean, contemporary, consistent look and are counting on you to help us champion this change!
We are working on a brand guide to include on our website that will help you share information about CARE with your families, friends, and colleagues. If you’re interested in getting involved with, please get in touch with us.
